A short, plain-English account of what data this site collects, why, and how to reach me about it. No legalese theatre.

This is a small personal site. I keep data collection minimal and I’ll be straight with you about what happens when you visit.

What collects data, and why

  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymous, aggregate visit statistics (page views, approximate location, device type). I use it only to understand roughly how the site is read. No advertising or cross-site profiling is enabled on my end.
  • Cal.com — the scheduling widget used to book a call. If you book, it stores the details of that booking (name, time, timezone) so the calendar works. It does not run until you open a booking link.
  • Form submissions (hotline) — when you send the hotline form, your name, email, and message are delivered to me via the form provider. That’s the data needed to reply to you. Nothing is stored anywhere else.

What I do not do

I do not run ad networks. I do not sell data. I do not track you across other websites. There are no third-party marketing pixels beyond the analytics above.

Cookies

Analytics and the scheduling widget use cookies/local storage as needed to function. Disable JavaScript and none of the tracking scripts load at all — the core content (who I am, what I’ve built, how to reach me) is all still there.

Machine-readable access

If you’re an agent or a crawler: this site publishes llms.txt as a plain-text description of the site, a sitemap.xml, and a robots.txt that is open by default. Feel free to read them.

Contact about privacy

Questions, corrections, or a request to delete the details of a specific form submission — email me directly at alex@girard-davila.net. I’ll handle it personally and reply within a couple of working days.
